Vocational Skills Weekday Program

Inclusive World’s Vocational Weekday Skills Program is designed to empower individuals of all abilities, both neurotypical and neurodiverse, with the technical and interpersonal skills needed to achieve their educational and career goals. Our curriculum is delivered by expert educators who excel in their fields and are highly skilled in Person-Centered Practices. This allows them to tailor their teaching methods to align with each student’s unique strengths and learning styles.

  • Vocational Skills Training: Computer Programming, Functional Math, Budgeting & Money Management using MS Excel, Small Business skills.
  • Hands-On Experiential Learning: Real-world projects and activities.
  • Life, Social & Communication Skills: Conversational Skills, Self advocacy with One Page Profile, Teamwork.
  • Employment Preparation: Resume building, Interview preparation, Job search.
  • Safety & Awareness: Cyber Safety, Community Awareness & Safety, and strategies for navigating public spaces securely.
  • Community Engagement: Volunteering, Collaborative activities and interactions with the local community.
  • Health & Wellness: Physical Fitness, Nutrition, Recreational Activities.
  • No prior experience required.

Program Schedule

  • Program Start Date: March 3, 2025
  • Weekly Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-2:30pm PT
  • Program Location: 106 S Park Victoria Dr, Milpitas, CA

Enrollment Criteria, Enrollment Process and Fees

  • Entry Criteria for the Weekday Vocational Skills Program

    To ensure the success of our participants and foster a collaborative environment, candidates and their families must meet the following criteria:

    1. Age Criteria
      • Participants must be 18 years or older.
    2. Independence:
      • Participants must be fairly independent in managing their personal health and hygiene needs.
      • If additional support is needed, they must attend with a dedicated Aide to assist them as required.
    3. Behavioral Suitability:
      • Participants must be able to engage in group settings without exhibiting behaviors such as yelling, throwing objects, or harming themselves or others.
      • Participants with a history of such behaviors may not be suitable for this program, as the safety and comfort of all participants is a priority.
    4. Commitment to Parent/Caregiver Engagement:
      • As a person-centered organization, we are committed to working with our participants to help them achieve their personal goals.
      • We believe in forming a circle of support that includes the participant, their family, and our program staff to foster collaboration and shared succes.
      • Parents or caregivers must actively engage and partner with us to support the participant’s success. This includes:
        • Participating in Goal Setting: Attending an initial goal-setting session to establish clear objectives for the participant.
        • Ongoing Communication: Responding promptly to communication and participating in regular progress reviews.
        • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Working with program staff to address challenges and implement strategies to support the participant.
        • Follow-Up at Home: Reinforcing and encouraging the skills learned in the program.
    5. Program Readiness and Commitment:
      • Participants must show a willingness to participate in activities, maintain consistent attendance (85%), follow instructions, and respect peers and staff.
    6. Assessment Process:
      • All applicants must undergo an interview and assessment to determine their suitability for the program. This process includes discussions with participant and parents or caregivers to align expectations and evaluate support needs.
  • Fees and Refund Policies
    • Application Fee:
      A non-refundable application fee of $100 is required at the time of submission to process the application and schedule the interview.
    • Program Fees:
      • Full fees must be paid upon acceptance into the program and before the start date.
      • Participants can receive full refund (excluding application fee) if they drop out within 2 weeks or 10 days of program.
      • Quarterly Fees is due before the quarter begins.
        • Quarter 1-2: March 3-June 27, 2025, Fees: $10,000
        • Quarter 3: July 14-Sep 26, 2025
        • Quarter 4: Sept 29-Dec 19, 2025

Students should have reliable transportation to commute to the program and arrive and leave on time. Transportation will only be provided for community activities which is part of the program offering.
