Our Mission

Inclusive World’s mission is to enable differently abled individuals to lead a productive life of acceptance and inclusion. We develop skills and abilities of differently abled individuals in alignment with their interests and goals for the future and enable productive opportunities. Rooted in the principles of “Person Centered” practices, we work with differently abled individuals and their families, as “people first”, to recognize their desires, interests and dreams. We offer skills development and employment opportunities that match their interests and focus on their holistic development.

Our Vision

By helping differently abled youth and adults find avenues for continued professional development and social immersion, Inclusive World is part of the grassroots movement towards a more tolerant and inclusive society for individuals of all abilities. A well-lived life for a differently abled person should be one of opportunities, be they academic, employment, or hobby – a life of dignity where they are accepted and valued as individuals.

Our Values

  • We value our MEMBERS. We value our differently abled members by focusing on their abilities rather than their disabilities, thus paving the way towards their acceptance and inclusion.

  • We value our FAMILIES. We honor and value the families of the differently abled individuals in their lifelong effort and advocacy for a productive live for their challenged family member.

  • We value our PARTNERS. We are grateful to and value our partners and recognize their support through program offerings and volunteer jobs, thus opening up opportunities for differently abled individuals.

  • We value our VOLUNTEERS. We value our volunteers who dedicate their time and effort towards our common vision of an inclusive world for all abilities.

  • We value our DONORS. We value our donors who help make many of our programs possible in our path toward a more inclusive and tolerant society.

  • We value DIVERSITY and INCLUSION. To sum it all up, we symbolize diversity by walking the talk on “Inclusivity”. Our community is a salad mix of co-existing abilities, where everyone is treated “ person-first”.

Our History

Our journey began when our three founders’ discovered one single concern that most parents voiced – “the current system does not fully equip their differently abled children for a productive and fulfilling life as an adult”. Most parents felt their child was capable of so much more, yet as their child grew older, doors seem to close and the options narrow. Opportunities taken for granted by the typical young adults were simply not available for their differently abled peers. The dearth of quality programs based on the differently abled individual’s interests and abilities abets their disability to exclude them from their community. Our founders took on to transform reality into one where each individual leads a well lived life by being productive and feeling respected.
