The San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) hosted its 7th Annual Superhero Summer Festival & 5K Walk~Run~Roll in support of individuals with differing abilities. This event brought a lot of excitement to all of our IW members and volunteers. The festive atmosphere featured numerous booths, delicious treats, and engaging games, as well as the 5K run/walk. The starting line was filled with live music, and the ambiance was vibrant, thanks to the enthusiastic crowd of runners and walkers. Several of our IW members, including Prabhav, Rohini, Madhu, Pratik, Pallavi, Gowri, and Dharma, actively participated in the run/walk.
The event was a visual delight, with many attendees and cheerleaders dressed in their favorite superhero costumes. Following the race, all participants received event t-shirts and various goodies as tokens of their achievement. In summary, the event was a resounding success, providing a great deal of enjoyment for everyone involved.
