Volunteering at Inclusive World is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, whether you’re directly supporting students as a peer buddy in the classroom or helping with outreach, marketing, and other essential roles. Here, you can:

Earn volunteer or field hours for school or college. We sponsor President Volunteer Service Award for eligible candidates.

- Participate in our Summer Internship Program and avail the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects, ranging from curriculum development, marketing to buddy hangouts.

Youth Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities
Volunteer Roles
We offer two types of volunteer roles:
Peer Buddy Volunteers
Peer Buddies are matched with differently abled students to support them in a classroom setting and build a supportive friendship.
You will:

Work side-by-side with a student in tech, enrichment, or life skills classes

Help them stay focused and complete clasroom and homework projects

Participate in group tasks and help foster connection and communication

Be a patient, kind, and encouraging role model

Commit to 24-26 weeks of weekend volunteering along with weekday homework help consistently
Perfect for students who enjoy working closely with others and want to make a direct impact on someone’s growth.
General Youth Volunteers
General volunteers support instructors, help organize materials, or contribute to creative and tech tasks.
You will:
- Help with behind-the-scenes projects like event support, social media and website content, or admin work

Join inclusive weekend events and community-based projects
- Able to commit to completing tasks assigned and keep deadlines.
Perfect for students who like to pitch in, use their skills, or explore different ways to contribute.
Time Commitment & Expectations
- Must attend volunteer orientation, End of Year Presentation and other program related events.
- Commit to the time expectations of your role

Be proactive in communication — check and respond to your emails and text messages in a timely manner

Communicate directly (not through your parents) regarding any absences, issues, or questions
-
Inform us ahead of time about any scheduling conflicts or challenges
-
Be on time and reliable, showing up for all scheduled shifts and meetings
-
Work collaboratively with your buddy and other volunteers, demonstrating patience, respect, and encouragement
-
Take initiative in supporting your buddy during activities, while promoting their growth and independence

Flexible Opportunities
- Booth events – Scheduled events throughout the year on weekdays or weekends as needed
- Offline tasks – Administrative and function tasks requiring 2-6 hours a week throughout the year
