Our Mission

Our mission is to equip individuals with development disabilities with technical, business, and executive functioning skills through person-centered learning. With vocational skills programs for teens and adults, we create pathways to volunteering and paid jobs that align with their interests. By empowering them, we ensure they have the same rights, responsibilities, and opportunities to lead independent, fulfilling lives.

Our Vision

Inclusive World envisions a transformed world where individuals with developmental disabilities are valued, supported, and empowered to lead independent, fulfilling lives through accessible, person-centered opportunities.

Our Values

  • We value our PERSON-CENTERED CULTURE. Our members are at the heart of everything we do. We recognize each individual’s unique strengths and aspirations, empowering them to live self-directed lives. By focusing on abilities rather than disabilities, we create opportunities for growth and contribution, supported by families, partners, volunteers, and the wider community.

  • We value VARIETY AND RESPECT. Our community thrives on the richness of different abilities, perspectives, and experiences. We foster an environment where every person is respected, valued, and supported in contributing meaningfully to our shared goals.

  • We value COLLABORATION. By working together with families, partners, volunteers, staff and donors, we ensure that every individual has the support and opportunities they need to succeed and thrive in an equitable world

Our History

Our journey began when our three founders’ discovered one single concern that most parents voiced – “the current system does not fully equip their differently abled children for a productive and fulfilling life as an adult”. Most parents felt their child was capable of so much more, yet as their child grew older, doors seem to close and the options narrow. Opportunities taken for granted by the typical young adults were simply not available for their differently abled peers. The dearth of quality programs based on the differently abled individual’s interests and abilities abets their disability to exclude them from their community. Our founders took on to transform reality into one where each individual leads a well lived life by being productive and feeling respected.
